Meg Jeffs

My name is Meg and I run a business called MJ Equestrian where I produce and sell horses aswell as offer schooling, rehabilitation and backing livery. I have always had a passion for showjumping and I compete affiliated on my two personal horses aswell as compete the project ponies, clients horses and hunt frequently.

Atlas is a 15.2hh, 14yo , grey Irish sports horse who I got gifted by a client just over a year ago. Atlas was unrideable , feral , extremely nervous and due to be put to sleep. I love a challenge so despite being full (and going into winter!) I accepted the offer to have atlas. I worked really hard to build a relationship with atlas, he was so scared and was meant to be a project to sell on…however, we really clicked. Atlas is now my best and safest hunt horse jumping quite literally anything I put infront of him , he competes affiliated bsja and won his second ever affiliated class. Sometimes a horse chooses their person and I’m very lucky atlas chose me. Briony has been the key to our journey as together with correct work and physio he has proved just how talented he is.
Senna is a 16.3hh , 14yo , Dutch warmblood gelding who I have had for nearly 7 years. He has never been the easiest horse but we are now consistently coming home in the ribbons and money. Briony keeps Senna feeling on top form.

Zoe Squirrel

Zoe Squirrell and Wonnacott (Biscuit to his friends!)
I am a grade 3 International Para Dressage rider from Dorset. I have been lucky to have been partnered with Biscuit, owned by the Pearse family, since February 2020. Biscuit is an incredible rising 19 year old schoolmaster, who alongside competing has taken me out on the open forest and on the beach! 2021 was a phenomenal year. We competed in the Para Winter and Summer National Championships placing as Reserve and National Champions. We also competed at my first International shows, at 1* level, winning each of the 6 classes we entered!! I met Briony nearly 3 years ago and in this time she has helped to develop me immeasurably as a rider. In the last 2 years she has taught me on Biscuit as well as offering physio support. Her advice at guidance at our last International made our results possible!
